Social Communication Skills Groups
Say What? Speech Therapy
Services is excited to announce our
social skills group program. Would you like for your child to learn how to
initiate and interact with peers, express him/herself more effectively, and/or
problem-solve situations independently? Our goal is to provide your child an
opportunity to work on these skills, along with others, in a small group
setting run by a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Topics we cover, but are not limited to include:
- Making friends
- Greeting others
- Personal space
- Non-verbal body language
- Joining peers in play
- Sharing Turn taking
- Being a part of a group
